Emily has been dancing at Vista School for four years and loves it! Past performances include Vista Dance Concerts, Alice in Wonderland, and Rattaballet. This is Emily's second year on Vista's Dance Company and she is so excited to be a part of Company again! In her spare time Emily loves to dance, act, read and hang out with the "Sparkly Six". Haley Harvey was born in Georgia and moved to St. George when she was 6 years old. Haley has been trained at Vista Charter School in dance for 3 years. Some of her favorite performances include "Alice In Wonderland" and the Dance Concerts. This is Haley's 2nd year as part of Vista's Dance Company. Haley loves to dance, hang out with friends and her family. Her favorite quote is "dance is a way of expressing yourself."

Bailey joined Vista Dance Company in the fall of 2011. Bailey’s current dance experience is by and through Vista for the last three years. Whether it’s during, after school or even during summer.

Emily has already had the heart of a performer. Since she was very young she has loved performing in front of others with singing, dancing, skits, and stories so much that her Grandpa built her a stage for her back yard. She has been dancing in different studios in CA and UT ever since with 10+ years of ballet, tap, and hip hop. She is currently studying voice with Amanda Hansen, and is a member of Phase Dynamics. She is excited to learn more about theater as well. Emily's favorite quote is "The BEST way to cheer yourself up is to cheer somebody else up." Emily is in 7th grade at Vista Charter School. Emily is  confident, persistent, and a hard worker.

Julie Lyman - 11- Is a wonderful sister, daughter, and friend.  Julie loves acting, playing the piano, singing, dancing, running, drawing, writing, and babysitting.  She bring joy everywhere she goes.  She is fun-loving, kind and has a talent of being a friend to everyone.  She has danced at Southwest Dance Studio from 4 -8 years old.  Julie has continued dancing at Vista for the past 3 years.  She loves Contemporary and Ballet dance the most, and loves doing choreography.  Julie is excited to share her love of dance this year!

Makenzie Oliphant is 12 years old and in 6th grade at Vista Charter School. She has been dancing since she was 5 years old. Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Modern Dance are some of her favorites. Makenzie also enjoys soccer, rollerblading, cooking, babysitting,riding a bike, playing the piano, doing crafts,and designing clothes. She is very excited to be in St. Dance Company and looks forward to learning and growing.

Emily Brooke Oram is 10 years old and the youngest of five children.  Her parents are Clif and MaryAnn Oram.    Emily loves to dance, sing, and perform.  She has blossomed through the programs at Vista School.  She has taken dance, choir, and theatre productions from Vista for 3 years and has been a member of Dance Company for one year.  
Her favorite dance role at Vista was as a “Storyteller” in Once on This Island.  In her spare time, Emily loves to sing, dance and play with her friends.  Her favorite dance quote is: "Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”

Alexa Jo Parkin is in seventh grade. She loves dancing! Its her passion! She plans on being a dancer when she grows up and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. When she goes to college, she wants to go to one where she can focus on her future dance career. This is Alexa's second year on Vista Dance Company. She also takes many other dance, cheer and acting classes at Fuego House of Dance. Alexa's absolute favorite form of dance is contemporary because she thinks the movements are smooth and fun. It also looks amazing when performed! She looks forward to performing ballet and contemporary in Dance Company. She hopes they will do a lot of that.

Thalia 11 is the youngest and only girl with three big brothers her parents are Neale and Lange Pyper of Ivins. Thalia loves to dance, sing and act and is an excellent softball player. Thalia began dancing at Dance Tracks in St. George when she was 3 years old and has been in Tristas school of dance in Ivins as well as Fuego house of dance and also UDA in Salt Lake City. Thalia is an amazing beautiful young lady with lots of talent. Thalia is on Vista's Jr. & Sr. Companies.

Kimbrelyn is a 7th grader at Vista. She was on Junior Dance Company last year. She has been dancing since she could walk. She started jazz, tap and ballet in Tonganoxie, Kansas, when she was around 2 years old. During her first dance recital, she looked right at her doll/prop, threw it  and ran off stage to mommy who was helping in the wings. She soon got over her shyness! 
After moving to St. George in 2005, she studied dance at Dance Tracks and Stacy’s School of Dance. Over the last three years, she has studied dance at Vista with Jennie Wood Jones, Rebekah Wainwright, Alexis Smith and Lexie Corbett. She loves dance, singing and musical theatre. She takes private voice from Kiki Shakespaere Thompson. 
She has danced and acted in numerous musicals and recitals including; "Jungle Book", "Aladdin", "Alice in Wonderland", "Once on This Island", and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Kimbrelyn's favorite quote is "“Just crank up the tunes and dance like there is no tomorrow.”

Erika Wells is 11 years old and in sixth grade. This is her second year in Dance Company and she is very excited! She has danced for almost seven years, and her favorite forms of dance are ballet and contemporary. Recently, Erika enjoyed being the White Rabbit in the Alice in Wonderland ballet. She has danced with Southwest Dance Theatre in St. George since moving here four years ago. Erika was born in Texas and lived in Los Angeles, Paris, and London. She loves to dance, sing, act, write, travel, and play the violin. Erika loves performing.

Ashley has been dancing since she was 5.  She was taught at Westside Studios until she started at Vista.  She has performed in several dance recitals, was a pink fairy in the winter ballet, and was a garbage & glamour rat in Rataballet.  This is her first year on Dance Company.  She loves to ride her bike, rollerblade, read, play the violin and piano, and dance! Jadyn Johnson has been dancing since the age of 2, and has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and tumbling. 
She is a member of an undefeated competitive Hip Hop team with 2-One Productions. Jadyn is excited to be starting her second year on Vista's Jr. Dance company. 
Her favorite things to do in her spare time are swim, hang out with her friends, and choreograph dances with them.

Alivia Kunde-  Alivia has taken dance classes from Vista since the beginning of Vista's inception 4 years ago.  Alivia has performed in 2 SCHS plays, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a squirrel and Oompa Loompa and in Peter Pan as a Lost Boy.  She was also an Oven in Mr. Glasses class performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.  Alivia is very active in sports playing competitive soccer, basketball and softball.  Alivia loves to be active and is always on the move rollerblading, riding her scooter or biking.  Alivia takes piano and is continually improving.  Alivia is also very creative and is always drawing, pasting and cutting.  Alivia's favorite books are the Dork Diaries Series.  Alivia is the 4th of five kids and the spark in her family!

This is Sierra May’s, first year with Vista Dance Company. She is very excited to have this great opportunity. Sierra’s past training with Tap dancing, Ballet, and Jazz has given me dancing experience. She has also been in many great performances as in: Up with kids HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, Tap dancing performances, Jazz performances,  “Seussical,” and Petroglyphs. Dancing is one of Sierra’s favorite things to do during her spare time, but she also enjoys drawing, acting, singing, and reading. Sierra has been inspired to dance and has always liked the quote “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…. It’s about learning to dance in the rain”.

Bella - 9 years old - loves attending vista. This is her 3 year performing and dancing at Vista. This is Bella's first year on the Vista Jr. Dance Company. She is also in Vista's Vocal Expressions this year. Bella has been dancing ballet and tap at Westside Studio since she was 2 years old. She has performed in St. George Ballet Company's Nutcracker 2009 as a baby mouse. In 2010 she performed in Vista's Ratabellet as an Angel. This year she is performing as a child of Mother Hubbard in SG Ballet Co.'s Nutcracker. Carly is a fifth grader at Vista. She is so excited to be on Junior Dance Company for the first time.  Lauren is a fifth grade student at Vista.  This is Lauren's first year in the Vista Jr. Dance Company.  Lauren has learned to love dance from the classes she has taken at Vista School.  She has danced in Snow Canyon's "The Wizard of Oz" and The Kids in the Round "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".   Lauren is also taking singing and musical theatre lessons.  In her spare time, she likes to talk, read, sing, write stories and spend time with her family.  Favorite dance quote: "Life is sweet when you pay attention. Dance Company is an extra-curricular team that reinforces what the students have been learning in class and gives them the opportunity to push themselves to the next level. The goal of Dance Company is to give the dancers performance experience and prepare them for entering Dance Company at the High School level.

Dancers will have a 1 ½ hour ballet class every Tuesday (Sr.) or Thursday (Jr.) after school and a 2 hour rehearsal once a week on Fridays. In this time, students will be working on technique and preparing for performances.
