FAQ

Q: What is the lunch schedule?

A: There are 6 separate lunches instead of 3. Leaving less children on the
playground at a time. We have also hired some specialists at the school that help
out at lunch time, leaving 3 adults on the playground at a time during lunch
instead of 1-2.

Q: How many volunteer hours am I required to put in each year?

A: It is recommended that each family contribute 20 hours per year in volunteer hours.

Q: Are students required to purchase dance uniforms from a single vendor?

A: Students are not required to purchase dance uniforms from the Vista Store or
any other vendor. They can be purchased from any retailer you choose as long
as they are the same color and style required by the school.

Q: Is it safe for students to cross the street in front of the school?

A: During the drop-off and pick-up hours, crossing guards and employees will direct the traffic. We are very concerned about students' safety and have
safety guidelines in place to protect the students.

Q: Are hood ies or sweatshirts required?

A: Purchase of these items is optional.  Less expensive outer clothing, without the Vista Logo, is also available and does not have to be purchased from a particular vender, as long as they are the same color and style.  All outerwear worn in the school is required to bee solid navy, or white sweaters.

Q: Are Vista teachers certified?

A: Most are currently certified and the few that are not certified are actively obtaining their teaching certificate. A request for teacher qualifications can be obtained in the school office during normal office hours.
