Q: What is the lunch schedule?
A: There are 6 separate lunches instead of 3. Leaving less children on the
playground at a time. We have also hired some specialists at the school that help
out at lunch time, leaving 3-4 adults on the playground at a time during lunch
instead of 1-2.
Q: Is there a procedure in place for students to receive free or reduced lunch at
Vista?
A: Parents whose circumstances require a free or reduced lunch can obtain one
by volunteering to help serve lunch at school.
Q: Are students required to purchase dance uniforms from a single vendor?
A: Students are not required to purchase dance uniforms from the Vista Store or
any other vendor. They can be purchased from any retailer you choose as long
as they are the same color and style required by the school.
Q: Does the school have plans to add additional parking spaces?
A: The plans for phase II at Vista will add additional parking.
Q: Is it safe for students to cross the street in front of the school?
A: During the drop-off and pick-up hours, crossing guards and employees will direct the traffic. We are very concerned about students' safety and have
safety guidelines in place to protect the students.
Q: Is there more than one option available for backpacks at the school?
A: We have added an upgraded backpack to the current lightweight backpack. Both are available at the Vista Store, or can be ordered from several retail outlets. More information is available in the front office.
Q: Are hoodies or sweatshirts required?
A: Purchase of these items is optional. Less expensive outer clothing, without the Vista Logo, is also available and does not have to be purchased from a particular vender, as long as they are the same color and style.
