The place is still TBD, but it will be a great experience. The cost will probably be $300 - $500 and there will be fundraising opportunities to assist students.

Website
I would love to get a picture and a bio of every cast member on the website. If you could send me the information about your student, I will start putting this information on the Rising Stars page of the website.

As you write the bio here is what information I would like to put on the website.

  • Some of their favorite performances/roles
  • A couple of details about their training
  • What they like to do in their spare time
  • A favorite quote
  • Website link to their own website, if they have one
  • Headshot or fun picture, whichever you would like

E-mail
Please reply to this e-mail as soon as you can so that I know you received it. Also, please send me any other e-mail addresses that would be good for me to send information to, including student's e-mails.

After School Time Commitment During The School Year
The Rising Stars will be rehearsing every Tues and Thurs from 3:05 - 4:30 pm. The time may be extended, and a few extra rehearsals may be called, but in general the rehearsals will be held during this time. (Note - the more preparation and time that you rehearse and review music on your own the more efficient rehearsal time will be. Once you receive your CD's the recommendation is to listen to them every time you are in the car or cleaning your room. )

VRS Parent Meeting
There will be an informational parent meeting on July 31 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting where the expectations for the year will be reviewed.
