Home / Academics / Cartesian Plane Activity with Mrs. Snow

The cartesian plane is a coordinate system that specifies each point uniquely in a plane by a set of numerical coordinates. René Descartes developed this coordinate grid using negatives and positives. Mrs. Snow’s students graphed a surprise picture that turned out to be an ice cream sundae! While they were graphing, they got to eat ice cream! The kids brought their own toppings to share with their classmates.

Thank you to the Swann Family for donating the delicious thick ice cream shakes to all of the 7th grade students!
