Karlie Hardman is an experienced graphic designer and instructor with a passion for technology. She has taught everything from Digital Media and Web Design to Coding and 3D Design.

She obtained her Associates degree in Graphic Design from Utah Valley University in 2005. From September of 2002 to April of 2003, she volunteered as a Technical Editor for Touchstones, UVU’s publication of art and literature, where she served her academic community. Also while studying at UVU, she worked full-time for several years as a Graphic Designer, gaining valuable experience. But she realized that in addition to being a great designer, she was good at teaching others, and she loves doing it!

So in 2005, Karlie started teaching Graphic Design at Provo College. After 6 years as Lead Instructor at Provo College, she was promoted to the Program Director of the Visual Media & Graphic Design Program. During these 9 years, Karlie created and developed new curriculum, developed student success programs, improved leadership skills, and fulfilled many administrative responsibilities for the program.

Karlie moved to beautiful, sunny St. George 3 years ago from Utah County with her husband and two daughters. She started teaching at Vista School in the Technology Department in January 2019. She loves Vista’s atmosphere, the students, staff and the amazing teachers that all work here!
