Sam has been involved in education for the past 22 years. He began his career teaching Spanish at the community level and then History and Government at Davis High School. He continued his career as a teacher and administrator in Ohio after obtaining a Master’s degree. Sam worked in Sycamore, Oak Hills, and Oakwood School Districts prior to relocating to St. George to participate at Vista. He loves working with young children and helping them to grow and to reach their goals.
Sam is the proud father of three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. He is an avid soccer fan and continues to coach in this area. His other hobbies include distance running, cycling, singing, classical and jazz music, dancing, and reading.
