LUNCH PROGRAM

Vista will be continuing the lunch program for the 2017-18 school year.  Updates for this year are the following:

*  Full pay lunch price will stay the same at $2.50 per lunch meal, reduced is $.40, second meal option is $3.00 per meal, whether you are full pay, reduced or free.
*  Students who participate in the lunch program are required to take at least 3 of the 5 components offered.  One of those options has to be a Fruit and or Vegetable.  The other components are Grain, Protein (Meat/Meat Alternate), and Milk (Dairy).
*  Free/Reduced applications can be accepted at any time after July 15, 2017.  Applications can be printed off from the school’s website or can be picked up from the front office, or you can fill out the online application through your Aspire SIS account.
*  For those who were on the free/reduced lunch program last school year, you will have until September 25, 2017 to get your new application turned in.  Starting September 26, 2017, your account will be changed to full pay price if application is not in.  If you qualify through SNAP, do not fill out the application, but please email Kayla Clark at kclark@vistautah.com to let her know that you qualify so she can verify.

BREAKFAST PROGRAM

Full price pay is $1.00, reduced price $.30.  NOTE:  Breakfast items will not be anything that includes peanuts or has been manufactured with peanuts.
*  Breakfast will be served starting at 8:00 am, and the students will enter in the back doors and will stay in the gym until the 8:10 when school doors open.
*  Students who participate in the Breakfast program are required to take at least 2 of the 3 components and the required 1 component has to be Fruit/Juice.  The other components are Grain and Milk (Dairy).
We are accepting applications for students in the 4th – 8th grades to volunteer to be a lunch worker.  If your student is interested please email Kayla Clark at kclark@vistautah.com to have her send you an application or you can stop by the office and pick one up.  Those students will receive a free lunch the day that they help out.
