EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Performance
Alexis Nielsen graduated from Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts and then moved on to Southern Utah University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Performance. Since then, Alexis has worked professionally in New York, China, and on our very own Tuacahn Center for the Performing Arts Stage. She has had the amazing opportunity to be trained in all genres of dance and each has inspired and motivated her personal movement style and pedagogy. Alexis fully aligns herself with Vista’s focus on creativity. Dancing with the 1st-3rd graders always brings a wonderful energy and a smile to her face.
Alexis is married to her wonderful husband, Tuker and together they enjoy dancing, cooking, eating, and exploring the beautiful Southern Utah area.
