BS – Brigham Young University

As a member of numerous boards and committees, Bette Arial has lived a life of service. She has worked for a U.S. Senator and a Congressman, was Vice President of Government Relations for an energy company and Public Relations Specialist for the Bureau of Land Management/Arizona Strip. She was a Trustee of Dixie State University, elected to the Utah State School Board, President of Celebrity Concert Series, appointed to the Commission for Women and Children, and a member of the Community Impact Board. She currently is a board member of the St. George Art Museum, St. George Art Commission, Art Around the Corner, Children’s Museum, Solid Waste and Historic Preservation. As Artistic Director, she taught Modern Dance for 30 years. She and her husband, Rick, have four children and fifteen grandchildren. She loves the beauty of Dixie and all beaches. She has climbed Mt. Timpanogos many times, loves to read, and collect shells. Music, dance, and art are her passions.
