David W Hunter earned his bachelor degree in business administration from Southern Utah University and his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law. After practicing in San Diego, David decided it was time to come home to Southern Utah.

His practice areas include commercial litigation and estate planning. His commercial litigation practice includes, construction defect defense, construction law, mechanic’s liens, contract litigation, collections law, civil litigation, general real estate, real estate development, real estate disputes, real estate transactions, real estate foreclosures, banking, arbitrations and mediations.

His estate planning practice includes asset protection, and helping clients design and implement wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts (insurance trusts (ILITs), intentionally defective grantor trusts (IDGTs), charitable remainder and lead trusts (CRTs and CLTs), powers of attorney, health care directives, and other estate planning documents. Mr. Hunter also assists clients with trust and estate administration and probate.

He is member of the State Bar of Utah, Nevada and Arizona and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Utah, Nevada and Arizona.
