Dede has studied dance since she was 14 years old. She has taught ballet, tap, and jazz since she was a teenager. She has taught dance in many elementary schools and dance studios in both California and Utah. Dede joined a jazz dance company at the age of 18 where she performed in musical reviews, shows, conventions and other venues. She performed in numerous musical variety shows including Best of Broadway, Music Man, and Grease, to name a few. She is excited about teaching at Vista so that she can share her love of dance with her students. Dede loves to watch her students grow in strength, technique, musicality, flexibility, and stamina. Her goal is to inspire students while providing a positive environment where they can develop skills to express themselves through the beauty of dance.
Dede is a Junior at Dixie State University and pursuing her BA in Dance. She loves spending time with her two boys who also graduated from DSU. She loves spending time with her family and friends who make life so joyful.
