Hillary is passionate about creating opportunities for children to excel and to become their best selves. She loves working with students in and out of the classroom and seeing them improve and grow. Since 2012, she has volunteered regularly in the classroom and been actively involved in multiple parent/school involvement groups such as PTA and School Trust Lands Committee. She is an advocate for student achievement. Professionally, Hillary worked as a newspaper reporter and copy editor for The Spectrum, an adjunct English teacher at DSU, a property manager for both commercial high rise and residential buildings, a hiring manager and a personal assistant. Her most demanding but rewarding job is that of Chief Operating Officer and co-CEO of the Osness family. Hillary grew up in Santa Clara and is a graduate of Snow Canyon High School, Dixie State University and Brigham Young University. She and her husband Roger spent their first 13 years together in the San Francisco Bay Area and have returned to Southern Utah to raise their five children. Hillary enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She especially finds joy in watching her kids do what they love.
