EDUCATION:
BFA in Ballet
Jennie is returning to Vista after some time away to marry and start a family and explore some other career opportunities. She is excited to return to Vista’s thriving dance department with a fresh perspective and renewed passion for education that has developed from her recent life experiences. Mother to three boys, she loves to teach children in their native language, PLAY, and she believes that dance is both a beautiful art and a vehicle to teach important life skills such as self-mastery, self-expression, respect and discipline. Her background includes classical ballet training, professional performance (Colorado Ballet and Contemporary Dance Wyoming), and teaching all ages from 3 to adult in private studios as well as higher education (Dixie State University). As much as she loves dance, she’s been thrilled to discover how much she also loves being a wife and mother, renovating houses with her husband, exploring with her kids, and eating her husband’s delicious cooking.
