Starting at a young age, Shellie trained in all genres of dance with various professional companies, including The Sacramento Ballet, Utah Regional Ballet, and Odyssey Dance Theatre. She attended Brigham Young University studying Music Dance Theatre while performing as a soloist on BYU’s Ballet Showcase Company. A contract to perform at Tuacahn Amphitheater brought her to St. George where she has been living and teaching ever since! To Shellie, Vista is a very special place, thanks to the emphasis on the Arts, which helps students find their passion and insurmountable potential!
When “Ms. Shellie” isn’t teaching or performing, she is singing, dancing, and playing with her three energetic boys! She and Mr. Thomas (Theatre) love to go boating and hiking when they aren’t working together on Vista’s many performances! They are also very avid DISNEY lovers!!
