EDUCATION:
B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, University of Utah.
B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-8), Western Governor’s University

Terra Thornley received a B.S. Degree in Child Development and Human Studies from the University of Utah. After being a stay-at-home-mother for nearly eight years and working as a paraprofessional in a severe special education classroom for four years, she made the decision to attend Western Governor’s University to complete the licensure program and received a B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a license to teach K – 8th grade. She loves working at Vista because she is able to work with the same students for multiple years. This will be her fourth year teaching at Vista, and she is excited to work another year with Vista’s amazing students, teachers, staff, and parents!

Terra has been married for 14 years, and has a teenage son. Their family enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and traveling whenever they can. They are always up for an adventure. Terra loves to decorate cakes, read, and most of all, spend time with her family, even if it’s just watching a movie, playing board games, or taking a walk with their crazy dog.
