Ms. Kay has taught elementary school for nine years: six years in fifth grade and three in fourth. She has taught math, science, language arts, and history. Ms. Kay continues to learn and improve by studying history, reading books on learning theory, language arts strategies, classroom management, and more. Walking down the halls and enjoying beautiful artwork while hearing strings music is one of her favorite things about Vista.
Ms. Kay loves to travel, read, hike, swim, and spend time with her daughter. She especially loves plants, and if she can travel to somewhere with lush, green, old-growth forests and go hiking there with her daughter, she couldn’t be happier.
