What services are provided at the Counseling Center?

The Counseling Center is here to support students with emotional, behavior, and life skills. The Center is also a support for Academics, Attendance, Student Achievement, College Preparation, and Curriculum. We also serve as the Class Registration Office.

What if I need something and the Counseling Center is closed or no one is in the office?

Please feel free to e-mail your question or concern – nrichins@vistautah.com. You can also fill out a Concern For The Counselor paper in the Counseling Center.

Do I need an appointment to see the counselor?

How do I change my schedule?

Schedule changes are now by administrative approval only. You many stop by the Counseling Center and fill out an orange schedule change request form.

How do I enroll at Vista and where can I learn about the elective courses you offer?

Once you have been invited to enroll, you can find enrollment forms and course descriptions on our school website under the enrollment tab.

Why did I get the classes I have on my schedule?

The Counseling Center staff spends months working to get each student as many of their top choices as possible. There are always a few class conflicts and we do have to make sure that students fill all of their State required classes. These two factors do dictate the building of a schedule.
