Student Class Schedules


Your child’s class schedule for the 2026-27 school year is available in Aspire. We recommend printing your child’s class schedule before attending Back to School Night on August 12th, or accessing your Aspire account on your phone during the event to avoid waiting in line for a printed copy.

Vista School Policies and Procedures

Please take a few moments with your student to review important Vista School policies and procedures linked below. Please ensure that both you and your student sign and submit one Acceptance of Policies and Procedures Required Signature Form for each student in your family before the first day of school, as completing this form is required before students can utilize technology at school.

Back to School Night

Back to School Night is coming up on Wednesday, August 12th from 6-8pm! Come find your classes, meet your teachers, and get all of your questions answered! New Family Orientation starts at 5pm in the North Theater.




Drop off and Pick up Procedures

Help us keep the school entrance safe, fast, and stress-free for everyone! If you are new to Vista School—or just need a quick refresher—please take 2 minutes to watch our Video Tutorials (linked below).

Important: Your drop-off and pick-up location depends on your student's grade level as well as location. Make sure to check the video to confirm which Zone your family should be using before the first day!

New Parent Portal Account 

Please click below for step-by-step instructions on how to create your Parent Portal Account. Your new account will serve as a centralized hub for managing school fees, monitoring lunch balances, making purchases, and staying up to date with school communications.

Important: Please create your Parent Portal account using the exact email address associated with your Aspire SIS account. This will ensure all of your students are correctly linked to your profile.

Free and Reduced Lunch

If interested, please submit an application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals. You only need to complete one form per household—just make sure to include all children and adults living in your home.

The fastest way to apply is online through your student’s Aspire SIS account by clicking the Free/Reduced Meal Application link. If you prefer a paper copy, forms will be sent home during the first week of school and will also be available at Back to School Night and in the front office.

Please note: You must reapply every school year, even if you qualified last year. However, if your family receives SNAP or Medicaid, you do not need to fill out an application.

Vista School is prepared for the new technology guidelines for the 2026–2027 school year in alignment with Utah H.B. 273.

The goal of these guidelines is balance and intentionality. Technology is not being eliminated, but it will be used in ways that are clearly connected to instruction and learning.

Vista School will continue to prioritize strong teaching, meaningful student engagement, hands-on learning, discussion, writing, and appropriate technology use that supports—not replaces—high-quality instruction.

Individualized Reading Plans (IRP)

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, Vista School is working to meet new state expectations for reading support and progress monitoring. Our team uses Acadience Reading data to identify students who may need additional support and provide targeted interventions through an Individualized Reading Plan (IRP). How to Train Your Dragon Auditions

For Vista Student Grades 3rd-6th (Performances: November 5-8, 2026)

Auditions: August 24-26, 2026. 

Callbacks: By Invitation Thurs. August 27, 2026 (after school in the black box theater)

We will be casting 65 – 75 students for this upcoming production. Audition sign-ups will open at Back to School Night via Sign-Up Genius, where you will also find a link to an Audition Prep Slideshow. Please note that 3rd graders will submit video auditions and will be cast as space permits. For audition packets and more details, please visit our display in the South Building during Back to School Night! 

Baby Mice/Gingersnaps Auditions
